Wampi, the Mighty Mouser

Here's one of the mice Wampi caught! Can you believe it? I love all types of animals but face it, it' not healthy to live with rodents and this building has got a serious -- SERIOUS -- mouse problem. I am all for Wampi catching mice ... gets him exercise and makes him feel useful and at the same time we get rid of the mice without using any type of traps or pesticides. Earlier today an exterminator hired by the building manager came by and asked if we needed our apartment baited for mice (lots of people have been complaining) and we were able to say, nope, we got our own in-residence exterminator! Wampi is a super mouser!

He caught 3 mice total and I haven't seen or heard any in awhile. He patrols the apartment and except for a little limp he has now from the "accident", you'd never guess he was near death early this summer. Go Wamp!

It is so pleasing to see that Wampi is getting about and behaving naturally.

Such4 a good kitty. One of mine always brings his catch to the front porch and just drops it off so that we will see what he has done. Glad to see pictures of him.

It's great to see a cat being a cat. And just fantastic that Wampi is getting back to his feline self. Let's hope the limp soon fades.

Is that the dead mouse "skin" in his bowl? How big was that mouse?? LOL Or is that more than one mouse??
We have two house cats and we live in an area where houses are newly built and they are early in the process of tearing up the land to build more houses. I thought that we would see an few mice around here when we moved in but we haven't seen one. I guess that's thanx to our kitties, Boo Boo and Blacky Bear! :o)

lol. I'm embarrassed to say, but that is just a dirty old sock that Wampi sometimes drags around and likes to play with. It's my husband's sock and I just didn't notice it sitting on top of Wampi's cat scratcher thinger in the background.

If that had been a mouse -- or even a few mice -- they would have been pretty scary!

p.s. - the mouse is hanging out of Wampi's mouth in a death grip! It's tail is hanging out of the left side of his mouth.

It's great to hear that Wampi is back to business again, and is gainfully employed!
